Facilities at Our Family Holiday Park

Our family Holiday Park located in Hokitika in the South Island of New Zealand has everything you need for a great holiday. It offers a peaceful, relaxing setting with mature shade trees and excellent facilities for all accommodation options.

The following facilities are available to registered guests staying in any of our Hokitika accommodation options:

KITCHEN
The kitchen is set up with seating for 18 people. There are 2 full ranges and a large cook top for cooking. A microwave and 2 fridge/freezers are also available. Pots, plates, cups, glasses and utensils are also available in the kitchen for guest use or you can use your own.

SHOWERS
The showers are NOT metered or have time restrictions. This is all covered by the Park fees. Light and fan units start when the cubical door is closed (no light switches).

TOILETS
There are 3 toilets in both the men’s and ladies shower blocks. Lights and fan units come on in each cubicle when you close the door (no light switches).

LAUNDRY
This is located at the rear of the main ablution block. The washing machine requires a $1.00 and a $2.00 coin to start. Laundry liquid is available at the office.

An iron is also available from the office on request (no Charge).

The dryers operate on either a $1.00 coin for ½ an hour or $2.00 coin for 1 hour.

Laundry tubs for hand washing and a clothesline are also available to all guests. Clothes pegs are NOT available but can be purchased at the store by the Park entrance.

INTERNET
IAC operate both wireless and coin computers on the property. The coin computers are located in the TV room.

Hokitika Holiday Park also operates it’s own wireless system within the grounds. Fees for both systems are available from office.

BARBEQUES
The Barbeques are available to be shifted anywhere around the Park. Please return to the main ablution block when finished. There is NO charge for their use. Barbeque utensils are available from the top drawer in the Park kitchen.
